Visualization is key<\/strong> A picture says more than a thousand words. With the digital twin as a foundation, you can visually give all stakeholders a clear overview and deeper understanding. Everyone can view, rotate, and explore drawings and models\u2014almost as if they could touch them\u2014and compare them to the digital representation of reality. This makes problem-solving easier and decision-making faster\u2014everyone sees and understands what needs to be done.

Everything in the right place<\/strong> Gather all project documentation in one place and ensure that everyone involved always has access to the latest version. Make sure all drawings and models are georeferenced\u2014placed correctly in the real world\u2014so you can easily test and compare them with each other and with the digital twin. Cloud Processing<\/strong> The simplest way on the market to convert drone images into a georeferenced digital twin. Read more<\/strong> <\/summary>\n

Convert your drone images<\/strong> There are many advanced software solutions for processing drone imagery. We chose to make it simple instead. No expensive or complex software. No special settings that take hours to learn. No local installation requiring powerful and costly hardware that blocks your computer during processing. And no issues with storing or sharing the heavy data generated by drone imagery. Simple and practical.

Fast, simple, and efficient<\/strong> With SkyMap\u2019s cloud processing, you avoid these challenges. Once your drone flight is complete, simply upload your images to us. Include a GCP file (Ground Control Points) with measured coordinates to enable georeferencing. Next, a GCP adjustment (so-called \u201cflagging\u201d) is performed, where images and GCPs are matched. This step doesn\u2019t take long\u2014but if you want to save even more time, our specialists can do it for you. Once the adjustment is complete, cloud processing begins. It\u2019s a quick process, so stay nearby. The advantage is that everything happens in the cloud, allowing you to continue working on other tasks without your computer being tied up by image processing.

Results<\/strong> Cloud processing can generate orthophotos, point clouds, and 3D models. You select your desired package before starting the process. Once processing is complete, you can visualize the results in SkyView<\/em> or download the data in standard file formats for further work in other software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High accuracy<\/strong> SkyMap originates from the surveying industry, and we understand the importance of accurate and measurable results. The more precise your ground control points (GCPs), the more accurate your output will be. You can verify accuracy directly in the system during the GCP adjustment process. Of course, factors such as drone equipment, flight method, and terrain characteristics also play a key role. As a rule of thumb, a properly executed drone survey should achieve an accuracy of \u00b130 mm\u2014comparable to a standard GNSS rover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pay for what you use<\/strong> Our standard cloud processing packages are highly cost-effective. You are always billed afterwards based on actual usage.

SkyMap Connect<\/strong> Our vision with Connect is to integrate with all excavators equipped with connected machine control systems. Currently, we are integrated with Leica ConX and Xsite Manage from Novatron, which allows us to reach the majority of active machine control systems on the market. We continuously work to integrate with even more systems. Read more<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Seamless file flow between SkyMap and your machine control system<\/strong> SkyMap Connect links file management in SkyMap Portal with the machine control system in the excavator. From the office, you can review project data against the digital twin of the construction site in SkyView and ensure that the correct files are always available in the machine. You can also retrieve measurement files from the machine for verification and as-built documentation. This eliminates the need to upload and download files between different systems and platforms\u2014or to run around with a USB drive every time a model is revised or updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add-on service<\/strong> Connect is an add-on service within SkyMap Portal. An active SkyMap license is required to enable the service in your project.

SkyMap OnSite<\/strong> is our free app for Android and iOS, designed to make it easy to document and communicate directly from the field. With the app\u2019s photo feature, you can capture images that are automatically saved with GPS coordinates and descriptions. This enables you to document work progress, report obstacles and deviations, and support quantity verification and invoicing – all on-site and directly integrated into the SkyMap platform. Field photos with location data<\/strong> SkyMap OnSite is a powerful tool for documenting and communicating directly from the field. The app\u2019s photo feature allows users to take pictures on-site, with each image automatically saved with location data (GPS coordinates) and the option to add descriptions. This means you can quickly and easily document where work has been carried out, where an issue has occurred, or where action is needed – directly on-site. Photos are seamlessly transferred from the field to the office and automatically saved as Points of Interest (POIs) in the project\u2019s SkyView<\/strong>. This makes the information available to the entire project team in real time – and places it exactly where the image was captured, providing a clear visual overview of project status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
