Sound business ethics and high integrity are important for our credibility and business sense. We make high demands on ourselves, and it is therefore important to us that our subcontractors, dealers and partners meet the same demands.

SkyMap's code of conduct means that we;

  • comply with the applicable laws, regulations and rules in the countries where we operate.
  • distances ourselves from and does not engage in any form of bribery, corruption or money laundering.
  • complies with applicable competition legislation and does not engage in anti-competitive collaborations or actions that prevent, limit or distort competition.
  • supports and respects internationally recognized human rights in the sphere.
  • provides a safe and secure workplace for all employees and ensures that health and safety procedures are stablished, followed and updated.
  • provides our employees with protective equipment and such training as is required for them to be able to perform their tasks in a safe manner.
  • does not participate in or support any form of discrimination based on gender, marital status, ethnic or national origin, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, political affiliation, age, disability or other grounds that enjoy protection under applicable law.
  • does not participate in or support any form of mental or physical punishment, threat of punishment, bullying, sexual or other forms of harassment.
  • respects and complies with obligations towards the employees according to national laws and agreements on social protection. Working hours, salary and other remuneration must comply with what applies according to law, current agreements and generally accepted standards for the industry.
  • does not participate in or support the use of child labor in accordance with international and national laws and regulations.
  • are not involved in, use or permit any form of forced labor including slavery, penal servitude, human trafficking or work as a form of abuse.
  • does not withhold any part of employees' wages, benefits, property or documents (such as ID cards and travel documents) to force employees to continue working for us.
  • respects employees' right to organize in and join any employee organization and to bargain collectively.
  • gives employee representatives the opportunity to fulfill their duties and discrimination against elected or union-affiliated employees is not accepted. If trade unions are not allowed in a region where we operate, or only government-approved organizations are allowed, we shall not prevent workers from assembling independently in other ways to discuss work-related issues and provide them with a forum to raise work-related matters with the management.
  • complies with applicable environmental legislation and must act in an environmentally and energy-wise, responsible manner in our operations.

The subcontractor, dealer or partner is responsible for living up to the requirements set out in the code of conduct. SkyMap has the right to follow up compliance with the requirements and the subcontractor, dealer or partner must cooperate with SkyMap in the evaluation.

If the subcontractor, dealer or partner does not comply with the code of conduct, SkyMap has the right to demand that the subcontractor, reseller or partner take corrective action without delay or terminate the agreement and end the cooperation.
